My father-in-law Len, does not have access to the internet so I printed out this picture to show him. He is, and has always been, an avid Bus Fanatic and coming from London as a child has numerous photos/slides which gives considerable pleasure to those he look through this collection. He recognised the area in the tram picture as being Trafalgar Avenue just before Albany road.

I had a look at this picture and have said I thought it might be in the Old Kent Road. The information in the caption now says it is at Trafalgar Avenue near Albany Road. These are both turnings off the Old Kent Road. The turning on the left is probably Trafalgar Avenue. The next corner Albany Road had the boxing pub 'The Thomas A Becket' on the corner.
