Picture B4 shows FUF 35 at the Carden Hill / Carden Avenue, Hollingbury terminus of "outer circular" service 46. The front blind has been changed for the return journey to the Aquarium over route 26. Note the open windows and the distinctive pink stone used on this road [Carden Hill] at the time.

Returning in 2003 to take picture DSC07105 it is noted that the Shelters are long gone, but their positions are still clear, and there are no bus stops her either as they would be too close to the road junction!

In picture B6, FUF 36 has arrived from the Aquarium via Ditchling Road and Carden Hill. It will soon depart for the Aquarium via Carden Avenue, Braybon Avenue, Surrenden Road, Preston Drove, Beaconsfield Villas and London Road. A little later in the evening, 36 would become the last Brighton trolleybus in public service. This picture is of the opposite side of the road to B4.

Picture DSC07103 - The photographer stands in the same position as picture B6 for the scene in 2003.

Picture DSC07102 - The arrangement of the kerb stones is all that remains of this former trolleybus turning circle.
