London Trolleybus at the Warren Drive North Terminus on Route 601

The turning loop for Route 601 at Tolworth was via Ewell Road, Tolworth Rise and Warren Drive North, basically through quiet residential roads. Little has change in this area over the past four decades although the local bus service has vanished, the mobile phone has seen off the telephone box and the 'snail mail' post box has gone, perhaps because of email.

No longer can you whiz along the A3; although the new 50mph limit is often somewhat optimistic during peak periods.
