|My Brighton and Hove
Memoirs of Brighton and its surrounding area can be found on a website created by a team of volunteers - historians, writers, photographers and web designers. With trams, trolleybuses and a sea shore electric railway playing an import part of that area they are featured across a number of pages on this site.
There are about 40 abandoned stations on the Underground network along its entire 255 miles [408Km] of track way - some subsurface and some above ground. Some have vanished without trace whereas others are almost intact, grimy time capsules of the era when they were closed. No trolleybuses on this site, just an interesting Cyber resource worthy of a visit.

|Cash Railway Website
Couple with the demise of trolleybuses were also the overhead wire systems [and pneumatic tubes] that use to carry cash between sales points and the cash office in shops and department stores from the 1880s to the late 1970s. This WEB site has all the details of those long forgotten systems.
Sixties City contains hundreds of pages and images on all aspects of the Swingin' Sixties. If you're looking for nostalgia, good times and great music, you're be in the right place!
|SAY NO TO 0870 Numbers
Many people don't realise that there are many phone providers offering cheaper calls to standard telephone numbers [those beginning with 01 or 02], which don't apply to 0845, 0870 or 0871 telephone numbers. Worst still all companies that use these numbers are actually receiving a cut of the phone call costs! The site lists many well known companies, and their equivalent geographical numbers.

|Streatham Ice Skating Action Group
Your Webmaster finds it sad to learn of plans to close Streatham Ice Rink to develop the site for a Tesco Super Store. For over sixty years the rink has provided pleasure to many South Londoner's, and for quite a few from further a field, and with its loss there are no nearby alternative facilities. See if you can make a difference to this decision by visiting this WEB site.
|Guillain-Barre Syndrome Support Group
